Skilled nursing care is provided by our licensed nurses. Our nurses have significant training in treating and educating clients. Other skilled nurse services include wound care, disease process management, infusion and injection administration, medication management, pre-op home safety assessment, anticoagulant therapy management, cancer care, pain management, and more.
Home health aide services are provided along with skilled or physical therapy services. Home health aide can help the clients with activities of daily living such as breathing, light meal preparation, light housekeeping, reminders for medication administration. Home health aides work under the supervision of our nurses and therapists to ensure that each patient’s customized care is followed.
When ordered by a physician, our occupational therapists help our clients who have lost the ability to perform certain basic tasks. Example, clients have a need to re-learn how to feed themselves again, so occupational therapist will train the client on how to perform the task.
When ordered by a physician, home physical therapy services are provided by our licensed physical therapists. Physical therapy helps our clients to regain strength that might have been lost due to a variety of illness. Physical therapy helps to improve mobility and reduce fall risk.
When ordered by your physician, medical social workers help to assess the social, economic, and environmental factors affecting the client and their loved ones. They provide counselling, and assistance with finding resources available in your community to help alleviate concerns. Our medical social workers are an integral part of our team. They understand the impact of illness, disability, and life-limiting conditions can have on your physical health.
Your doctor may order speech therapy and as a result of impaired speech due to illness or injury. Our speech therapist will help our client to re-learn lost speech skills; from enhancing verbal communication to reducing the risk of aspirations pneumonia. Our speech therapist will work with the physician to create a customized plan specific to our clients needs.
Personal Care Attendants can help the clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, light meal preparation, light housekeeping, reminders for medication administration, running errands. Agency also offers Private Duty services which are customized to fit the client’s need.
